RHC encompasses nearly 300 historic homes in the downtown area, and reached thousands of local residents via RHC’s events – such as the Historic Home Tour and Colorful Lights Tour, community garage sales, and porch parties. RHC uses the proceeds from events and membership to support initiatives aligned with RHC goals, including local grants for beautification or educational programs.

Historic Holiday Home Tour - Postponed
The Residents of Historic Concord have announced plans to postpone the 2024 Holiday Tour of Homes. After consulting with its homeowners, town officials and various downtown businesses, it was determined that postponing the Tour for one year would be best for all parties involved in the production of the event.
“After a lot of discussion amongst the Board, our town officials and local businesses, we are going to move our event to December 2025.” Kelley Cartrett- Phifer, RHC President stated. “There are many components and volunteer hours involved in producing this event, and we are very focused on providing the best event possible. With our downtown nearing completion of their projects, we want to wait a year so we can partner and support our businesses while offering a wide variety of spectacular homes to the community that supports this tour. It was not a decision we made
lightly, and we look forward to producing an amazing Tour in 2025.”
