RHC makes a difference

Giving back to Historic Concord

Dogi-pot Locations

In 2022, the RHC brought to our neighborhoods four strategically located pet waste stations. While not the first thing people think about in Historic Concord, the waste stations provide a convenience to our community dog owners, protect the beauty of our city, and can give everyone a clear path for walking. The funding for purchasing these stations, the installation and maintenance of them, is a result of membership and fundraising of the RHC along with a matching grant from the City of Concord.

There are several pet waste stations Union St S as part of the Greenway trail system. The northern portion of the Historic District required host locations for the stations. We thank these private property owners for allow us to install the pet waste stations near them.

The purpose is to provide community benefit through projects in the following areas: Beautification, Education, Entertainment, or Community Service. An individual, agency, or organization who proposes a project supportive of the RHC's mission to enhance life in and around the Historic District, may be eligible for an award in this program.  Email [email protected]

Charities

General Board Meetings give the members an opportunity to collect much needed supplies for several local charities. At a recent meeting collections for CVAN were accepted. We are happy to share that a trunk-load of wish list items were delivered. Thank you RHC members for having such caring hearts for a wonderful organization.
